The device had already been seen a few weeks ago at a 5G event in Taiwan. But, no additional information had filtered. Llabtoofer did not just give the date (which only appeared in a second message). He took the opportunity to unveil most of the datasheet of the device. The only information that is really lacking right now is the price.

Features Of HTC U12

As expected for HTC, with this model, it’s an opportunity to make a return to the dual camera market. The company has not been risky since 2015, so it’s a mini-event. On the back side, there would be two cameras one of 12 megapixels and another of 16 megapixels. At the front, it would be an 8-megapixel camera. Both designed by Sony. In terms of visual appearance, the device could take the form of the HTC U11 + with a 6-inch screen QHD + 18/9 format. The set would be water resistant (IP 68).

It‘s just as appetizing under the hood. The processor would be a Snapdragon 845, could rely on 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Attention, this would be valid for the high-end version. The drawback of this phone has that it has a battery of only 3420 mAh. The HTC U11 + could rely on 3939 mAh. Finally, the device would come with Android Oreo 8.0 and Sense 10 home software, along with a facial recognition feature.
